Xykon: Bah! That stupid chimera didn't even eat ONE of them!

Xykon: That's what I get for hiring discount mercenaries.
Xykon: Three-for-one deal, my bony ass.

Xykon: OK, who's next?
Redcloak: More discount mercenaries, Lord Xykon, sir.
Xykon: *Sigh* Well, send them out. They're already paid for.

Xykon: And remind me later to have a talk with the staffing department.
Redcloak: Yes, your evilness.

MitD: What about me, master? Let me smash the hated Order of the Stick for you!
Xykon: No, my minion, you are my secret weapon. I shall reveal you only when the time is right.

MitD: Well...can I at least get out of these dark concealing shadows?
Xykon: Didn't I just say I wasn't going to reveal you??

MitD: But...there's no one here but us!
Xykon: HEY!! Who's the archvillain here?

Xykon addresses the reader, breaking the 4th wall.
Xykon: I know the drill, the bad guy always keeps his secret weapon cloaked in shadow until the climax.
Xykon: They could do a cutaway to us at any moment...

MitD: But...it's so dark over here...
Xykon: Oh, stop being such a baby.

The Monster in the Darkness lights a flashlight. "click!"

Xykon: Turn that off!!
MitD turns off the flashlight. "click!"
MitD: Awwww, man!
Trivia
- Although Xykon has previously appeared in Plot, Ahoy!, this is his first talking appearance.
- This is the first appearance of Redcloak (although unnamed yet) and The Monster In The Darkness.
- Redcloak appears to be very submissive to Xykon. This would later become an important part of his character's development.
- This is the final appearance of Trigak.
