Tenrin Thundershield was the father of Durkon Thundershield and the late husband of Sigdi Thundershield. As part of the Dwarven army, in the Special Threat Response Squadron, he was a member of Sigdi's squad in which he worked as a sapper. Thirden described him as a geological genius and a "true savant" in the subject. He died fighting a dangerous troll that had dragon's blood by causing a cave-in with his geological skills, the same confrontation that cost Sigdi her arm.[1] He died holding on to the hand which she lost.[2]
