D&D Context
- Angels are a type of good-aligned monster. Readers of the strip assumed this being was a type of Angel, either a Deva, Planetar, or Solar. These creatures are generally quite powerful. But the author responded to criticism that she was too easily killed by declaring that she is rather a 5th level half-celestial human fighter.[1] Half-celestials are the offspring of celestials (such as angels, but including other less powerful creatures) and humans. Celestial and Half-celestial are templates which can be added to the base abilities of another type of character or creature.
Trivia
- The title is a reference to Dark Helmet's line from Mel Brooks' 1987 sci-fi parody film Spaceballs: "Now you see that evil will always triumph, because good is dumb."
