Minrah: Ok, got the message to Redcloak down to 25 words but I feel it could be punched up a bit. You want to take an editing pass?
Durkon: I dinnae think tha'll be necessary.
Minrah: Wow, sending the first draft. You are an adventurer!
D&D Context
- Sending is a 4th level spell for Clerics like Durkon. Here Durkon shouts the name of the spell after the casting is done, instead of to initialize it. The spell allows short (25 words or less) two way communication between to parties across arbitrary distances.
Trivia
- True to his word, Durkon does not use his Sending Spell to contact Redcloak -- instead, in 1204 he opts to meet Redcloak in person.
